This past Saturday was our Holiday Market in the barn and it was such a fun day of seeing new and old friends, shopping locally and ushering in the holiday season. Going into the sale, I genuinely did not know what to expect so the turn out that we had was beyond my wildest dreams. I’m so deeply thankful to all of you that came out and shopped, met up with friends, had some cocoa and cookies and generally brought lots of merriment and good tidings. We had the most amazing vendors and wares and I feel a deep sense of gratitude that they took a chance to spend a whole Saturday in our barn!

I was so delighted to finally meet several people from Instagram who were so very supportive and enthusiastic. It was amazing in every way!

I was worried that the barn was going to be a little too rustic, a little too chilly and a little too small but she put her best foot forward for the event, as did the weather!

Gretchen and I made lots of cookies for the sale and while we certainly didn’t sell them, we did ask for a small donation for a local charity if someone was able. I’m really happy to say that we raised a nice, solid amount for charity!

Gretchen and I have been friends for many years and have come up with a fair amount of harebrained ideas in our time! We started talking about having a barn sale years ago (basically as soon as Bryce and I bought the farm) and I’m so glad that we actually did it! Thank you to all who participated, you are appreciated!
It was SUCH a wonderful event! Just gorgeous at every step from car to barn. I felt as though I was going back in time with all the care taken, beautiful presentations, and charm. Thank you for making our ‘Christmas Saturday’ one for the memory books!
Leslie, it is so kind of you to take the time to say this. It is much appreciated, as is your coming to the sale. Thank you so much!
Congratulations on the success of a quite wonderfully harebrained (not) idea Gretchen and Anna!
